Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Many of you will have followed the plight of Harriet Stobbs on the TV and in the press over these past few months and will have been deeply moved by her brave battle against illness.

Harriet's parents, Kate and Rob, have established the Harriet Stobbs Foundation in memory of their beautiful daughter. Their aim is to increase awareness for organ donation and to raise funds for the many organisations that helped Harriet and which continue to help many hundreds of babies each year.

We are a group of Kate's colleagues from Ethicon-Endo Surgery UK who are committed to raising over £10k for The Birmingham Children's Hospital on behalf of The Harriet Stobbs Foundation by trekking the Inca Trail in Peru on the 28th August 2005.

So please sponsor us now! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Birmingham Children's Hospital Charities will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your kind and generous support.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
