Story
On Christmas morning 2017 the world lost a fantastic man, my Grandpa. He spent his last days in St Barnabas House in Worthing.
St Barnabas House is an independent charitable hospice located in Worthing, West Sussex. We provide end of life care services, both at the hospice and in the local community, to adults with advanced progressive life-limiting conditions.
Grandpa was in a lot of pain and the hospice were absolutely fantastic. The care they gave him was superb and made his last days as comfortable as they could. The silly sod decided that he would go join Vicky (my granny) for a large whisky on Christmas morning where he could look down pain free and enjoy himself again.
I would like to do something to raise money for St Barnabas so they can carry on doing the fantastic job they do and helping many more families in all sorts of different ways. The way I am going to this is by cycling from London to Geneva!! This will be approx 700 miles over one week of riding. Please donate as much as you can, every little helps. The ride is on 25th July. I will keep you all update on my training etc.
Many thanks and much love,
H
