Greetings Everybody!

I'm raising money for innocent Iraqi people who have been adversely affected by the war in Iraq, by shaving off my hair!

The money will go towards orphans whose parents have been killed, desperate families suffering from extreme poverty and displaced iraqis who are refugees in Syria and Egypt struggling to survive. Here are a few facts about the quality of life in Iraq:

• - Iraqis Displaced Inside Iraq, by Iraq War, as of May 2007 - 2,255,000
• - Iraqi Unemployment Rate - 27 to 60%, where curfew not in effect
• - Consumer Price Inflation in 2006 - 50%
• - Iraqi Children Suffering from Chronic Malnutrition - 28% in June 2007 (Per Los Angeles Times, July 27, 2007)
• - Iraqis without access to adequate water supplies - 70% (Per CNN.com, July 30, 2007)
• - Average Daily Hours Baghdad Homes Have Electricity - 5.6 in May 2007 

 The charity I am raising money for is run by a group of women, my mother being a valuable member and founder among them. So I know precisely where the money is going.

You'll get an idea of just how much I absolutely love my hair, which I've been growing for 3 years and so tirelessly maintaining, so I ask you to please donate generously!

Oh and there are "prizes" for the 2 highest donors. 1st highest donor will have the honour of shaving my head! 2nd highest donor will receive a lock of my amazing curls!
