What Am I doing?
I will be cycling from the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff to Croke Park Stadium, Dublin . I aim to complete the 200+ mile journey in 3 days, ready in time for the Ireland v Wales UEFA 2008 European Football Championships on Saturday 24th March 2007.

Who am I raising money for?
All online donations will go to Ty Hafan Children's Hospice in Wales via Gol (www.gol.org.uk). Offline donations will be used by Gol towards The Wicklow Sports Promotion Unit (SPU) in Bray, near Dublin. It works with young people to help turn them away from anti-social behaviour and into sport.  It provides programmes to schools, travellers and ‘at risk’ children, community groups and sports clubs and offers training to youth workers, coaches and parents. So far it has helped more than 600 young people realise their potential in football, volleyball, Gaelic sports and kayaking.  The Unit helps channel people between the ages of 10 and 21 into clubs to carry on their participation.

Why?
I am a passionate follower of the Welsh National Football team and have only missed 2 home games in the last 7 years. This will be my 7th away game and having previously visited an orphanage with Gol in Baku (Azerbaijan) I decided I wanted to make a difference.


How Can YOU Help Me?
That is simple! By helping me raise more than the £5,000 target! Even if you do not know me, or we have only spoken on the phone, or via email, all donations will be gratefully received. Every £1 helps, so by sponsoring me only 1p a mile that will be more than a £2 contribution - which is less than a pint of beer / glass of wine! Of course, the more you can donate the better!
