Update

Digger and I made it!!!  5 days was our goal and it was achieved.  A gruelling but ultimately hugely rewarding trek through glorious scenery.  My feet look as thought they've been through an industrial wood chipper but it was worth every step.  The support from you all has been phenomenal and humbling.  Monte would have loved to have made the trek himself I'm sure.  A heartfelt thanks to you all.

As most of you know Smirnoff (or Monte) was my horse and buddy for more than 7 years. In that time we developed a deep bond and despite our ups and downs (mostly my downs, after his ups, if you know what I mean!!!) I loved him. His life was tragically cut short in 2004 and I wanted to do something in his memory.

I will be walking all 84 miles of Hadrian's Wall in 5 days,  with just Digger (my friend's Labrador) for company. I am funding the trip myself so all donations will be for my two chosen charities. I am unable to have the two charities on this page and so have created two. Please donate whatever you can to either (or preferably both!). Digger also has his own fundraising page manged by his owner, Ann.
