Due to being diagnosed with High Blood pressure, i am not able to take part in this years Marathon, so will be taking part in a 13 mile Midnight walk instead for St Catherines hospice, so your sponsor money will still go to the same cause, hopefully next year will be the year for the marAthon. Thankyou.

As most of you know my dear friend Paula was taken from us in September, after losing her fight with cancer. She was a true inspiration to everyone, she leaves 2 young children, family and many friends. We miss her dearly.

I have always thought about attempting the marathon, but after the sad outcome of Paula's fight, it drove me to want to do my bit, it gave me the motivation and reason to take part in the marathon. For Paula and to help raise money for people who are also going through the fight with cancer.

I do this in the memory of Paula and her strength will also be mine.
