This year I am running to raise money for the NSPCC, in particular the Acorn Centre in Blackpool. But I'm not just running one marathon. Or two. Or, erm, three.
For some reason I've been talked into doing four of them in the course of two months. So if you see me in April or May I'm likely to be complaining about the state of my legs, and if you see me in June I'll probably be crawling!
The full line up
5 April - Blackpool Marathon (update - successfully completed in 4:13:30, inside my 4:15 target)
26 April - Flora London Marathon
17 May - Windermere Marathon
31 May - Edinburgh Marathon
The more observant among you may have noticed that the last one is actually my 31st birthday, so there may be some partying going on afterwards if I can still stand.
I'm running all four marathons on my own place, not on charity places which means that any money donated will go straight to the NSPCC rather than covering my entry fee. It also means that I won't be chasing you with a big stick to get me to a sponsorship target, but any donations would be very welcome!
At some point I may vow never to do anything so stupid again. Which would explain why I've already signed up for an ultra in September...
I also have paper sponsor forms - just ask!
