Story

Hello, and welcome. It's a few years since I've bothered you with sponsorship (a tandem skydive for the same charity) so it's time to crawl out of my comfort zone. You may recall the excuse I give for my general laziness and penchant for naps is having an MPN. Well, for me, fatigue is the biggest symptom. Undesired weight loss is another of the symptoms but I don't get that ... typical.

If you can spare a fiver, that would be marvellous. And if you're free at noon on Friday 13th May why not come and: (a) heckle me; (b) slap me if I get hysterical and change my mind; and (c) watch me go over the top .... (no change there then). And I wonder if there will be any means of encouragement. Perhaps something chocolate-based ....

About the charity

MPN Voice leads the way in supporting people with rare blood cancers called Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), with accurate information and emotional support. We're funding research toward better treatments and one day a cure. Most importantly we offer hope to those affected by MPNs.
