Story

                      "HI Ride" for Cancer Research

Thank you for your continuing support for "HI Ride" for Cancer Research.

Iain completed his 1200 mile cycle ride between , and Theale, , on June 7th 2008 and was matched mile for mile by friend and colleague, Terence le poer Trench , who cycled alongside Iain for two weeks and then biked the equivalent distance in the .

"HI Ride" was set up  by Iain Forbes to provide long term friend and colleague, Harald Berg, with a focus after he was diagnosed with stomach cancer and faced many months of treatment. Sadly "HI Ride"  was riden in Harald's memory. It has received great support from friends and family who have kindly donated or taken part in the cycle ride itself. Harald's wife Kristina and children, Daniel and Frida have been very active supporters throughout, cycling many miles themselves.

Today "HI Ride" for Cancer Research has already made a significant contribution to cancer charities acrossand continues to do so as all involved continue to tell everyone of its purpose and achievement

For the time being Iain is taking a short rest but continues to cycle many miles daily for his relaxation and Terence cycles his commute to Reading!! Iain is already talking about new challenges and opportunities to raise more funds.

Of course we'll keep you all posted on these plans through this website.

Please continue to support "HI Ride" for Cancer Research and thank you to the many many organisations and people who have dug deeply into their pockets to support us.
