Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, and thank you so much to all of you that have donated so far!
Please dig deep and sponsor me in memory of the great Stewart Vaughan who was known and loved by many!.
Myself and my son Jake who is aged 1 years, will be taking part in an EASTER BUNNY FUN RUN on 16th March, to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. We are doing this in memory of Stewart Vaughan, my brother-in-law and Jake's Uncle Stew!.
Stewart was recieving treatment for terminal cancer from the Marie Curie Hospice in Caterham this time last year, however he sadly lost his battle and passed away on 1st April 2007 aged only 28.
Both myself and Jake who was only a few months old at the time visited Stewart in the hospice on numerous occasions, and each time were overcome by the friendlyness, helpfulness and dedication shown by Stewarts nurses. Watching someone suffering from such an evil disease is heart renching, but knowing that he was in the best place possible for the last days of his life is a warming thought that will stay with us forever.
I take my hat off to the staff of the hospice, however without the fundraising behind Marie Curie this service would not be possible.
So please peeps sponser me to dress up and look silly and run with my son, in the Easter Bunny Fun Run!!!xx
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
