Story

For the second year a team of hardy Hotcoursers will be facing up to the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Hotcourses Foundation. The Foundation aims to change the lives of some of the most disadvantaged children in the world by providing them with the education they need to improve their chances in life. Working with children affected by HIV in Kenya, the target fundraising for this event would allow the Foundation to secure the sponsorship of a full education for 10 more children living in the slums of Nairobi.

During the event the team will endeavour to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in under 24 hours. Last year's climbers told tall tales of snow at the top of Ben Nevis, injuries and shin splints on Scafell Pike and climbing in the dark on Snowdon! All in all it's quite a challenge so please show your support by sponsoring the team or an individual on the team and helping us reach our target amount.

The Hotcourses Foundation was set up in 2004 to help fund the education of children in the developing world whose access to education was limited or non-existent. Its objective is to make a measurable, tangible difference to the lives of children in some of the poorest parts of the world. Initially it has focused on AIDS-orphans in Kenya and HIV positive young adults in Uganda.
