Story

Hi!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This year the Howes Percival runners are taking part in the Run '10 and we are all running 10km. We are running to raise funds for the Northamptonshire Community Foundation.

Northamptonshire Community Foundation is an independent charity that distributes much needed and life changing grants to voluntary and community groups all across the county - from youth clubs and elderly people's support groups to football clubs, disability support groups, environmental projects and healthy eating initiatives.

The grants make a real difference to the lives of local people and groups in this county are not only transforming individual lives but also helping to build stronger, safer and more cohesive communities.

There are pockets of real need within this county and frustratingly, the Foundation had to say no to over 65 groups applying for grants last year - simply because the funds were not available.

That is why your help is so appreciated. Any sponsorship you raise, however small, will help the Foundation continue to make grants this year and will enable those groups and people who have community project ideas to turn their ideas and dreams into a reality.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

We are a grant-making charity, awarding much-needed grants across the county to create safer, stronger communities. Projects we fund include breakfast clubs, peer support groups for people living with disabilities, activities for older people, youth clubs, sporting activities and so much more.
