Cyclone Nargis the worst storm to hit Asia in 25 years ripped across the coast of Myanmar (also known as Burma), bringing misery and devastation to up to one million people. To date around 22,000 people are confirmed dead, over 40,000 are missing and thousands have been left homeless.

The Disasters Emergency Committee already has relief workers on the ground doing all they can to help and they need your help to keep going so more lives can be saved.
