On the 16th of April we are dressing up as our favourite superheroes to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention, a cause we really care about.

All money raised will go to support the work of Brighton-based charity Grassroots Suicide Prevention.  Grassroots is working hard to help Brighton & Hove achieve the designation of becoming the world’s first ‘suicide safer city.’  Your donation will help them prevent suicide by training local people in life-saving suicide prevention skills.

One in twenty people will think about suicide each year.  We want to encourage people to seek help when they need it, and look out for people who may need help.  Our message is: ‘You don’t have to be a superhero to help someone who’s thinking about suicide.  You don’t even need training.  You only need to be willing to have open, honest and compassionate conversations about suicide.’
