Story

At the end of last year I turned 50 and was tipping the scales at over 24 stones. I had to make a change to my life, and that change came with the help of a friend Iain Whyte who has helped me lose weight with Herbalife. Since December 2012 I have begun to lose weight and in January I agreed to join him and Michelle Ibbs walk from the North to the South rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The walk has been described as reverse mountain climb; we will attempt to complete the walk in one day - that is a total of 25 miles down one side of the canyon and up the other. And I am petrified of heights!

We will all be 50 years old at the time of the walk and we have all used Herbalife products change our lifestyle. The walk is a perfect fundraising opportunity, and what better charity to help than St. Catherine's Hospice - a local charity giving such amazing service to the local community at the most difficult stage of their lives.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and I hope tht you will help me raise funds to help these amazing people continue to do what they do for the community.
