Story

Welcome! To anyone who is reading this page may I say a big thank-you for getting this far! If you just want to find out why I'm doing it again it is all below, if you want to donate then thank you very much! I know how annoying it is when people pester you for sponsorship time and again, which is why I shall only ask you once.

Why again?

With six weeks to go Paul my housemate suddenly found himself double-booked with a rugby tour and so graciously offered to let me take his place and more generously his pain! For three of those weeks I have been on holiday and the fourth I was jet-lagged so training has been short-lived to say the least!

What's the target?

I'd like to beat my previous time of 2h 33 minutes. More importantly I'd like to break 2h 30m which is the cut-off point for the pro category. Chances of doing either, a lowly: 3 in 10. With around two weeks to prepare even my intensive training is unlikely to live up to the test. But we'll see...

Why Parkinsons?

My grandad died only 30 days after my last triathlon. In short I would like to give something back to a great man.
