Hi all

On Sunday 25th April 2010 I will be running the London Marathon. I have two aims - one is to finish (which given the state of my shins during training is far from a given) and the other is to raise as much as possible for WellChild, a national charity that helps sick children and their families deal with the consequences of serious illness, through funding nurses, enlisting volunteers and investing in children's health research.

I hope you will support me in my fundraising for this worthy cause, and that those of you that helped out with donations for my half marathon charity run last year won't feel too put-upon to be asked again this year! If it's any consolation, this is probably it. I fully intend to hang up my running shoes and get properly fat as soon as the Marathon is done.
