Fundraising for Theirworld
Story
Hello to anyone that has taken the time to visit my fundraising page!
I am on a quest to complete my second Great North Run and raise some much needed funds for the charity Piggy Bank Kids.
You may or may not know that earlier this year my baby daughter Savannah had extensive medical treatment for a life threatening condition. Savannah has been lucky and is well on the road to a full recovery.
PiggyBankKids is a children's charity which creates opportunities for children and young people who would otherwise miss out. Set up in 2002, they launched the Jennifer Brown Research Fund a premature birth charity which helps solve pregnancy difficulties and save newborn lives. They also work on partnership projects with other child- and youth-focused charities. From mentoring services and sports provision, to addiction support and children's cancer care, PiggyBankKids supports a range of projects that make a real difference.
