Story

"Ian's Birds" are all family, friends or colleagues of Ian Cullen who unfortunately has recently been diagnosed as having an inoperable brain tumour.  He is due to start radiotherapy and chemotherapy at the beginning of August and will be in the very safe hands of The Royal Marsden.

The Royal Marsden needs no introduction and has an excellent reputation.  However it is not until something like this hits you personally that you feel the need to actually do something and contribute in some way.

Through this "Ian's Birds" were hatched (no pun intended!).  Our aim is simple: we will complete the 5km in support of Ian and at the same time hopefully raise valuable funds that The Royal Marsden will be able to use to continue their excellent work.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Thank you very much for any donation you are able to make - it all counts!
