Story
I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life for the third time this year and, as always and every day, I will be remembering my dearly loved and much missed, Aunty Hazel and all the women out there who have been touched by cancer, either directly or indirectly.
This year, I will also be thinking of my dad, Frank, who has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer and all the other dads, brother, cousins, uncles, sons with prostate cancer or any other form of cancer.
Every day in the newspaper, we read about advances in finding a cure once and for all and I hope that if we can raise enough money to keep funding the research, a cure will be found in my children's generation.
Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
