Almost there now with donations!

Without doubt The Great WallMarathon has been my finest challenge.

To start with a hill climb onto the Wall sets the scene.

At 36km serious doubts prevailed, with head spinning and lack

of breath as the final stage of the Wall kicked in!

Imagine absailing UP the side of a cliff and you are there! It was like a rollercoaster journey with the safety rails abandoned and it tested all aspects of human nature.

HUGE thanks to the guy who passed saying 'You can't come this far and not finish'

I beat the 8 hour barrier - completed in 7hours 3mins, came first in my age category and was ahead of 63 other runners.

577 completed theMarathon from nearly 700 starters!

Binksey's charity Crisishas benefitted to the tune of

£1361.55.

June 18th is my closing date for further donations.
