As you may know (or probably guess) this is the first 10k race I've ever run. It wasn't my idea - my wife entered me for it, although she did redeem herself by entering too. I haven't run this much since I stopped playing Rugby at 18. If you see me hobbling about in the near future - you'll  know why.

 

In any case I've taken this as an opportunity to raise money for one EDF Energy's Charity Partners - Global Action Plan, the only major UK charity that focuses primarily on helping people across society to cut CO2 emissions in their daily lives.
