There are many reasons not to run the London marathon. It's too hard, too much of an effort, loss of social life on the days I do long runs, consuming red wine and eating cheese is much more fun and I would rather stay in bed on a Saturday morning.

But, there are 2 good reasons for doing it.  It's a very personal challenge for me and I am raising money for Help for Heroes.
