Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

I'm Hayley-Marie Mitchell and I'm the cousin of an incredible human being, Alex Jackson. Unfortunately his life was taken on the 28th November 2014, in the Brighton Sussex County Hospital, intensive care unit. To show how thankful we all are as friends and family, Paul Jackson, Father of Alex Jackson, decided he wanted to give back to the intensive care unit, who helped his son Alex Jackson, girlfriend Chantelle Marriott and friend Scott Hammond by raising as much money as possible. Paul and family, would like to say a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses, who tried to save the life of Alex Jackson in the Brighton Sussex County Hospital. Not only was Alex a smart, caring young man, he was also a hero, a lifesaver. At the age of 18, a few months before he passed, he became an organ donor. He has already helped save 4 lives, what an incredibly compassionate human being, he is a hero of many. Not only was Alex in intensive care, but also his girlfriend Chantelle Marriott. who has suffered from severe injuries, but is slowly recovering not only from the accident but from the trauma of loosing her soul mate. The funds that we raise are not only for Alex Jackson, but also to help to continue helping others, just like Chantelle Marriott and Scott Hammond who also received treatment and care from the intensive care unit. Please can you have the heart to help by donating, and raising money for the intensive care unit, in the Brighton Sussex county hospital.
