Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
We are the family and friends of Sarah Parker, who passed away on 31st December 2008 after enduring a long and brave battle with multiple sclerosis.
We completed a charity walk in Alice Holt Forest on Sunday 16th August 2009 to help raise funds for the MS Society Farnborough Branch who do a fantastic job supporting disabled victims of MS.
It was a great turn-out on the day, with over 60 walkers, so a big thank you to everyone who came along and to all those who have made donations, baked cakes, painted faces, donated MS stickers (MS Shift), promoted this website, sold raffle tickets and helped in any other way to make the day such a success.
This site is still open for further donations so if you have not yet donated please do it now - it will mean so much to the Farnborough Branch and the people they help!!!!
Your donations will help the branch members with respite care and will provide equipment that they urgently need. The money is always used for the benefit of local people affected by MS in a wide area going out as far as Sandhurst one way and almost to Alton the other. The Branch also does invaluable work organising day trips to places of interest.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: M.S. Society Farnborough Branch gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
