Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2008 my father, David Smith, was diagnosed with a serious brain tumor. I am very glad to say that he is still with us and is going strong. In September 2010 I will be attempting to summit the highest mountain in the Alps, Standing at 4810m the great Mont Blanc. I am hoping to raise as much money for Macmillan Cancer Support as possible.
I will be accompanied by my good friend Mike Burns who was along side me as I completed a successful summit attempt of Jbel Toubkal in January this year. At 4,167m it is the highest peak in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. I am hoping to build on the success and experience gained in January and reach the top of Mont Blanc.
This webpage; JustGiving.com/intotheoutside will continune on after Mont Blanc as I have trips planned in 2011 for Mount Elbrus and the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro.
