Story
Welcome to the IMS "Natural Born Hikers" fundraising page, and thanks for visiting! We appreciate your support for The Mitchemp Trust, and for us in our quest to scale these 24 Cumbrian peaks!
As many of you will now know, the Invesco Perpetual 24 Peaks Challenge is taking place this coming weekend, 29/30 September 2007.
The hard work has begun: the boots have been waxed, the maps have been dusted off, and many miles of training walks have been scrupulously planned. We may be trudging along now, but, come the end of September, we will be skipping up and down those mountains!
Of course, the hardest part is ensuring that we hit our fundraising target of £5,000. We are most grateful for all donations.
Making a donation through this site, is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us, as The Mitchemp Trust will receive your money more quickly, and an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift (at no cost to you) if you are a UK taxpayer.
Wish us luck - and please think of us on the evening of Sunday, 30th September (nursing our weary feet and limbs). And thanks, once again, for your support.
Antony, Paul, Pat, Kim, Bronwyn, Natasha and Angela
P.S. We have received some very generous offline donations too. We would therefore like to personally thank the following people for their support, as their names do not appear on the below list: Martin Harrison (on behalf of GAM UK Ltd), Charlie Porter, Ed Chamberlayne, Richard & Yvonne Timberlake and Antony John.
