Iris died on 3rd October 2020 after living with cancer for the second time. When discussing her funeral arrangements, Iris requested that any donations would be to support people with dementia and their families. 

We are therefore supporting MASE (Monthly Alzheimer's Support Evening), a local charity run entirely by volunteers. 

MASE hold monthly meetings in 5 locations, providing social support and information for people with dementia, their carers, family and friends. Even during the pandemic when the groups have been unable to meet, MASE have kept in touch with members and provided much needed support.
