The Irish Challenge is for teams of four to cycle in relay over 500 miles in three days from Blarney Castle in south west Ireland to Dublin raising a minimum of £1000 for charity. 

Leaving Swansea for Cork by overnight ferry on the evening of Wednesday 29^th September 2010, teams will have a chance to kiss the Blarney stone before heading west through superb countryside to the rugged Atlantic coast and the famed Ring of Kerry, finishing the first day at Killarney in time for a ceilidh. Day two takes teams back to the stunning coastline featured in “Ryan’s Daughter”, crossing the Shannon and hugging the coast with its magnificent 700 ft high Cliffs of Moher, before spending an atmospheric night in wonderful Galway. The final day takes teams south of Lough Derg and the run-in to Dublin for the final night party at the shrine of Guinness. Teams will return to Wales via Holyhead on the morning of Sunday 3^rd October.

This year we are donating 50% of the sponsorship to Cancer Research and 50% to The British Heart Foundation.
