Story
So having successfully done the Cardiff Half Marathon last year and spent 6 months eating pies through the winter I decided it was time to do something new. February saw Neil and I rock up poolside to the Cardiff Triathletes Tuesday training sessions looking a little sheepish (and fat).
I'm still a bit fat but have spent the last few months learning how to swim properly.
So on 12th September I'll be competing in the Weymouth Classic, Olympic Distance Triathlon. This involves a 1.5Km swim in the lovely waters of the English Channel, a 40Km bike ride, followed by a 10Km run.
I'll be raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain. The MS Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland is the UK's largest organisation dedicated to supporting the 100,000 people, their families and carers affected by multiple sclerosis.
