Story

This page is dedicated to the memory of Ivan Bussens.

In the last months of his life, Ivan fought a courageous battle against cancer.  His wish was that, in place of flowers and other charities, people make a donation to the Cancer Immunotherapy Research Fund (10049) at Barts Hospital.  The fund will enable Ivan's doctor, Professor John Gribben, to continue his work in trying to combat cancer for future sufferers of the disease.

Barts and The London Cancer Care Appeal will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please donate generously.

Many thanks for your support.

About the charity

St Bartholomew's Hospital has a long and proud history of caring, and now we are continuing to build on that past to ensure new standards of excellence for the future. At Barts we are developing a world-class specialist cancer centre, which will serve more than 1.5 million people in North East London and beyond. To achieve this however, we need to support new research, have access to new technology and shape an environment that is more suited to the needs of patients during difficult times. Your support can be dedicated to a specific ward or department, patient and staff amenities or research.
