Two years ago I started the London marathon, got to 21 miles and then ended up in hospital.  No gory details but thanks to St John Ambulance for the bed, drip and ambulance!

I completed last year's marathon and this year I'm running again - aiming for a faster time but only if the weather is kind ie overcast and not too hot or humid.
