As most of you know I am attempting to complete the Edinburgh Marathon at the end of May 2009.

I have chosen to raise money for Derian house as it is there 'For those with no clear idea of how much time together they have left' - Every Second Counts

I have a child and grandchild  myself and many of my friends and family have children/grandchildren. The things that this charity does for people in need of their help are amazing...It makes me think how lucky I am...and although I pray we will never need to use their services...I would like to do my bit to try and help them care for others that unfortunatley do.
