Here I go again!!

It's that time again! If you had asked me at the 18 mile point last year if I would be doing this again, I would have answered NO!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!! It dawned on me at this point that it was a STUPID idea to run the marathon, and that I must have been completely mad!

So....here I am again!! I crossed that finish line and (just like childbirth.. I have been told!!) forgot all of the pain and tears! It all seemed so worth it as I finished the 26.2 miles with the biggest smile on my face you have ever seen! I had done it!!

And now...I'm doing it again!! Still training as hard, still running, still wearing myself out at all those classes!! And yes, I still love it!!

I am running for the Hampshire Deaf Association again. My target is to raise £750. Please help me to raise money for this worthy charity.

Deaf people are often prevented, through lack of awareness of their needs, from taking part in activities that their hearing peers take for granted.

Old and young people are particularly vulnerable, and at greatest risk of isolation through their deafness. HDA's residential scheme and youth programmes help bring deaf people together in an atmosphere of mutual help and understanding.
