Story

On 1st April 2020, we sadly lost our Dad, at the age of 78 to Covid-19. He was an amazing Dad, Brother, Grandad, Great Grandad and a Friend to many.

Dad was a well respected businessman. He opened Overseas Travel & Premier Insurance in 1965 on Rookery Road and a few years later moved to Soho Road, Birmingham. He ran the business with great care and passion for over 50 years, serving the community and making friends with his many long-standing customers.

He always looked after his health, taking his daily vitamins, exercise routines, healthy diet and finished off the day with his Indian shot of Chivas in the evening.

Dad was a true legend, well known for his slick suits, glittering ties, shiny shoes and welcoming smile. He loved his parties. Whenever there was a family event or gathering, Dad would be the first to get ready, looking forward to socialising with his many friends and family members.

He did not have many hobbies, but the one he did have, he loved… playing cards! At any given opportunity, he would seek partners so they could sneak in a quick game of Seep!

He was a religious person, always willing to give to good causes & charities. Dad was always there for anyone who wanted any help, advice, or guidance. He lived a very humble & happy life, and we can truly say, we were blessed to have such an amazing Father. He was truly one of a kind.

We will miss you deeply.
Love You Always,
Meena, Neetu, Sukhdev & Ajay
