Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My colleague Mick Cowlam and I are going to cycle over 1000 ,miles for charity.  We are undertaking the much vaunted John O Groats to Lands End cycle, also known as the end to end. 

We aim to complete the ride in 14 days, but have made things slightly harder by cycling from North to South and into the on coming south westerly winds.  Mick and I are seving police officers and on a daily basis we get to interact with a diverse community.  We are often amazed by the courage and fortitude people show in times of adversity and we feel it would be good to give a little something back.

Mick is currently the oldest serving front line officer in the Avon and Somerset Constabulary, something he is immensly proud off.  He is an advocate of the train whilst competing method, and as a former naval PTI i'm sure he'll manage this cycle easier than I will.  I just hope the training I put in means I can keep up with him!!
