For some stupid reason I decided to run this years London Marathon to raise some funds for the Butterwick Hospice.  I managed to get round in 4 hours 53 minutes (including a 25 minute wait for a pee!).

I cannot thank those enough who sponsored me, it really was appreciated.

On Sunday I am running the Great North Run, also to raise funds for the Butterwick, so if you never got round to sponsoring me, or even better still owe me some bloody money then please sponsor me for Sunday.

Alternatively, if you just think I am a smashing bloke who deserves sponsorship then please go for it!

The Butterwick Hospice is a truly remarkable organisation that offers invaluable support to caring for adults and children with life limiting illnesses and their families.  It provides this compassionate care free of charge to people over the age of 18 and their loved ones from its Hospices in Stockton-on-Tees and Bishop Auckland.

 

In Stockton-on-Tees there are very few people who do not know anyone who has received support from Butterwick Hospice and appreciate its work and I am sure you and your staff know someone who has benefited from this support.
