<p><em><span style="color: #888888;">For some stupid reason I decided to run this years London Marathon to raise some funds for the Butterwick Hospice. I managed to get round in 4 hours 53 minutes (including a 25 minute wait for a pee!).</span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="color: #888888;">I cannot thank those enough who sponsored me, it really was appreciated.</span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="color: #888888;">On Sunday I am running the Great North Run, also to raise funds for the Butterwick, so if you never got round to sponsoring me, or even better still owe me some bloody money then please sponsor me for Sunday.</span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="color: #888888;">Alternatively, if you just think I am a smashing bloke who deserves sponsorship then please go for it!</span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="color: #888888;">The Butterwick Hospice is <span style="font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="font-size: small;">a truly remarkable organisation that offers invaluable support to caring for adults and children with life limiting illnesses and their families.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It provides this compassionate care free of charge to people over the age of 18 and their loved ones from its Hospices in Stockton-on-Tees and Bishop Auckland.</span></span></span></em></p>
