SO.... Natalie and I have dicided to take a wonder through the Sahara.

Sounds easy you say.....?

Well, no!

 

For 6 days the berbers tribe will be our guides. Us, them and their camels will be covering on average 20k a day, we will be taught how to cook traditional food in our camp, and then sleep in the open with the stars as our tarpaulin.

This also means we have between now and March to get ourselves fit (which in itself is worth sponsoring) so we will have a scheduled fitness program to ensure we can bare the contrasting temperatures between day and night.

A lot of the time with these sponsored trips the travel costs are paid out of the raised sponsorship money. For us, THIS IS NOT THE CASE. We have paid for the trip ourselves, so all money raised will go directly to our charity.
