Hi, thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

 

"On the 25th July 2009, our team are attempting the "Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge"... a gruelling 37.5 km (23.3 mi) to 42 km (26.1 mi) circuit of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough...  with nearly 1,600 m (5,249 ft) of ascent and descent... all within 12 hours."

 

Well we did it! In a range of times from 7hours 58, that's right 58 up to the grand time of 12hours on the dot. Timings, we worked out, were directly related to the number of picnics you ate along the way, suffice to say those that finished quicker were ultimately also more hungry.

 

The scenery spectacular, the company excellent.

Most importantly though we fulfilled the criteria on your kind donations!

 

We will be keeping this page open now for about a month to make sure we give you all enough time to empty the pockets... and then we will be presenting the total to Buckingham and Greenacres RDA.

 

Finally a MASSIVE thank you to all that have donated, the money Will make a difference.
