Hello all

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I hope that you can help me raise as much money as possible for the wonderful pioneering cancer hospital, The Royal Marsden, London.

I have given myself the challenge of cycling from London to Paris next June in the hope that i can raise a minimum of £5000.00 in sponsorship for this great place!

It is a distance of roughly 300 miles done over 4 days and considering that I don't even run for a bus, that's some undertaking for someone who has not been on a bike for nearly 15years!!

The training has started slowly - with a puncture!, but i'm told that was down to the rather large weight squashing the little tyres flat! - so a little way to go yet but ONWARDS & UPWARDS

However, I do know that this will be a lesser challenge than that faced by my wife and others like her everyday who know first hand what 'Living with Cancer' is all about.

The Royal Marsden is an excellent hospital doing amazing work and research into finding ways to beat this terrible disease.
