Story

Oh my God...26.2 miles... what the hell am I doing!? I always watched the London Marathon on TV and thought "I bet I could do that!" I'm not even a runner by any stretch of the imagination but I believe you can do anything if you try so here goes with my challenge! It's true that I've had to stay away from certain social events recently, sorry guys but the temptation of alcohol is huge at this point... had to give that up ages ago

I am running to raise money for the Parkinsons Disease Society. Parkinson's disease is a progressive, neurological condition that affects movements such as walking, talking and writing.

Any money I raise above my target will get donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust so keep giving. Those that know me will probably be able to read between the lines and realise these aren't just 2 random charities... they both have an important personal meaning.

Thank you for taking the time to read through... and thank you to everyone that has already given so generously in person...I'm going to give it my all!

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
