We're (James and Zoe) getting married! Hurrah!

We are celebrating with at least 3 kinds of cake and a big ole' knees up

We've been living together for over 6 years and are lucky enough to have good jobs, a nice house filled with lots of lovely things and pretty much everything we need. Therefore in lieu of a wedding list we would like you to consider donating to one of three of our favourite charities:

James is asking for donations to Calibre Audio Library. It's a charity that supplies recorded books to those who cannot read printed books - people who are blind, partially sighted, dyslexic or have other disabilities.

How do you read when you cannot see?

Ever since I was a child I have loved listening to books from Calibre.My poor sight makes reading difficult and tiring for me. But for many people it is completely impossible. They are denied the enjoyment of reading as well as the learning experiences that go with it.

Calibre uses volunteer actors to record popular books on to tapes and CDs. The library staff then post out 4000 of these each day They are able to provide its service free to its 20,000 members only thanks to donations - every year it needs close to £1.5 million pounds just to keep going
I still find it exciting to find out which title has come through my door. It means I can read so much more than I otherwise would. Please help other young and old people who cannot access books to enhance the quality of their lives
