We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Hi my name is Sam, if you didn't know already.
During the first five years of my life I was in and out of intensive care. Great Ormond Street Hospital was one of the many I stayed in.
I would like to give something back to those who cared for me and so the idea of a sponsored row to the Isle Wight came up. But not just in a boat (that's easy!) but in a 'Can-oe'. That's a boat made of beer can's, for uninitiated.

So a friend and I are rowing to the Isle of Wight in a home-made boat made of beer cans to raise money for Great Ormand Street.

We're setting off in June - so pleased give now before it's too late, and help me to help others.

Any donation of any size will help. So thank you.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
