I have somewhat cautiously agreed to climb 24 Peaks in 24 hours in the Lake District on the 5th/6th September. There are 15 of us participating in this event of which my individual target is £500, if I achieve this my company has agreed to double the contribution.

It is a very worthwhile charity, and I am sacrificing a weekends booze, golf and television and quite possibly the very soles of my feet.
