Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. First of all a huge thank you to those who have sponsored me so far which filled me with encouragement and made me proud when completing the London Marathon for all the help this will now give to Dogs for the Disabled. My official finishing time was 4:57. I wish I could have done better but over the last 3 weeks I have been struggling with a knee injury. Despite cruising the first 16 miles I found myself hopping, skipping and walking the remainder as the same knee trouble came back to haunt me. By half way my time was 1:56 and at this stage I was hoping for a time nearer the 4hr mark for finishing. Despite the disappointing last 10 miles the shear sight and inspiration of the crowd and other remarkable runners made we realise that it really is all about the experience and just crossing the line. Thanks again for all your support and also to Dogs for the Disabled for giving me the opportunity to help such a remarkable charity. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Dogs for the Disabled will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
