Fundraising for Breast Cancer Care

UPDATE
As some of you know, being the accident-prone woman I am I had to have extensive shoulder surgery last week (10 July). I have taken the advice of the pro's and have been warned that cycling for a very long time over rough ground could cause long-term damage to my poor old shoulder.
Nic and I have therefore changed our challenge and are now trekking through Thai jungle instead.
Jungle trekking is apparently not measured in distance but in terms of time - we plan to trek for around 6 hours a day for 4 days followed by a 4-5 hour kayak down the River Kwai. We will be camping out for most of the trip - think "I'm a celebrity" without the tantrums! Although I'm assured our food will be lovely and not various inedible kangaroo's bits!

So far we have raised in excess of £2000 for Breast Cancer Care and Nic has completed her training as a support volunteer - you can rest assured your sponsorship is already benefitting women and their families who need it most.

My very good mate Nic has recently undergone surgery and treatment for breast cancer. When she really needed it most Breast Cancer Care were there for her every step of the way. The help she received from them was invaluable, providing information, emotional and practical support.
46000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year - 300 of them men. Breast Cancer care is there for every one of them.
I have rather rashly agreed to cycle 450km through Vietnam with her this November to help raise much needed funds for Breast Cancer Care. I have paid towards the trip and have pledged to raise £2000 in sponsorship. Please don't make me have to sit in a vat of cold baked beans to do it - please give generously!
