Dear Friend,

This year I hope to run the London marathon and raise at least £1000 for the Alzheimer's society. It is a charity close to my heart as my Dad was diagnosed with the disease two years ago. I am very grateful to Martin Bartrop for giving me a guaranteed place in the race.So far the training is going quite well, but the thought of running for 26 miles still fills me with horror! However, I have been given this opportunity and I intend to give it my best shot!
