SAHARATREK 13 – 22 MARCH 2009!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

My daughter, Rebecca and myself have joined a group of 30 trekkers to be led by John Brunning from Classic FM Music Makers on a trek in theSahara.

Music Makers Charity supports music therapies and education projects for children and adults in the UK.

As you can imagine this is quite a challenge – trekking for 7hrs a day in the desert climate !!

We are very happy to take up this challenge and help to fundraise for such a good cause.   Rebecca and myself are especially happy as she is 40 years old this year and I am 70 years young this year, so for us it is a very special time in our lives.  We have always said we would do something significant together when we reached this time and now we have found this opportunity to help others whilst experiencing the outsatanding beauty of the Sahara.

Each of us has to raise £2,250 (Two thousand, two hundred and fifty pounds) before December 2008
