I RAN

Well. I made it!
Despite all the injury worries I've had the marathon went quite well yesterday. In fact I felt really good until between mile 21 and 22 where, inevitably, the hammer fell. But I managed to sort myself out by walking a few minutes after which I managed to power on, helped by the roaring crowd who shouted my name. I finished in 4.33.16 which I am  happy with for a first time effort!

Thanks to all who donated so far, and remember this page will stay open for a fair while still so if you doubted I could make it and have waited to donate, I've just proved you wrong.

My charity is the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (www.msrc.co.uk). This is a terrible condition that can't be cured and it plagues many people. The uncertainty is the worst part of it. I know all this from personal experience as my sister suffers from the condition.
