For those of you that haven't already heard I am taking part in Leeds Idol (singing "Call Me" by Blondie) which is an X Factor style event where people from the Corporate Finance and Restructuring Community will perform songs from their chosen Idols in front of a crowd of c.400 at The Wardrobe in Leeds on 14 May 2009. Those of you that know me at all will realise what a massive step outside my comfort zone taking part in this event is and I really still can't believe I'm doing it.

I appreciate these are difficult times and that there are many calls on our resources, however any amount that you can spare would be very gratefully received on behalf of this most deserving charity.
